Being Innovative

Going to the pool was such a worry for me with the kids so I usually went with Mark in the evenings. One day I didn't want to wait for Mark to go swimming, so I took the bumbo (a baby seat) and a couple of toys with me. I noticed a hole on the side of the pool and decided that an umbrella would fit perfectly there. It all worked out great! Brooks could sit at the side of the pool and I could reach him and his toys without getting out of the pool every time. As long as I splash him a little to keep him cool he just sits there with his toys and watches us swim. After that it was routine.
