I've had fun messing with some of the other photos taken of Enzo and Maya. Here are a few.

How Did I Do That?!?!

Yesterday I decided to make my own "studio" in my front room. I turned my couch so that I could drape a comforter over it to make a little back drop. I took photos throughout the day, and according to the sun they kept getting better! I took some pictures of baby Maya first. The lighting was not quite so great. Here is the image, untouched. (keep in mind this is my first time shooting in manual mode too. I have been trying to figure out my camera and the art of it all) (Don't worry, my next post will be of the photo fixed a little.) I think having it overcast didn't help my attempt.

Then I tried to get a decent one of Maya's brother Enzo. This was more than a workout! The little tyke wouldn't hold still, or even look in my direction. Yes, I tried to make it fun. Here is one of the attempts...

I took a break for a few hours, then persuaded Annabelle to give it a go. It was sunny now, but I was having a hard time with the adjustments on the camera. I guess you can say I am more than amateur when it comes to photography, but I want so badly to become GREAT! After taking Annabelle's I was surprised with how clear they were and the lighting was a little better.

I told Annabelle to smell the flowers to get her mind off the camera. This is her reaction of how they smelled : ) She's so cute!

Last, I decided to have Abbi give it a go. She is so natural! I didn't tell her to do anything!!! She sat down and this is what we came up with. These are all the photo's I took of Abbi, and Annabelle, every one turned out! I LOVE the coloring with Abbi, her hair, face, and eyes. All of these pictures I've posted are straight from the camera... untouched!

After a day like that I'm left wondering... HOW DID I DO THAT!?!?
