The Perfect Love

Now, I don't mean to brag but most women that go into labor aren't up for a smoochy. But, there's nothing stopping Heidi. She's a real gem!

This little guy has entered the world with an appetite. It is so fun to have this experience again (our 3rd child). We felt more prepared and ready for him. Heidi and I love all 3 of our children equally but differently. That thought is confusing and amazes even us, but if you've had multiple children you probably quickly agree. They are all so different. Even now Brooks is displaying a monster appetite and a more easy going nature. Cross your fingers!

A New Respect for My Wife

Instead of a box of chocolates, I delivered a baby boy, Mark Brooks Romer (Brooks) on Valentines Day. It went something like this, the Doctor asked me if I was okay holding a leg while Heidi pushed. I said, "Yeah, I could do that, I could even deliver him if you want"? I said that somewhat sarcastically, however, Dr. Leavitt replied, "Let's get you suited up then".

It was an experience I will never forget. Brooks has been perfect since he got here. Heidi did an amazing job. It was almost unreal. We thank each of you for your prayers and kind thoughts.
