The Ferry To Bainbridge Island

It was such a beautiful day for a ferry ride. The kids loved driving our car onto the boat and got a kick out of a boat carrying cars. We went into the city last weekend, but it really isn't that kid friendly with the type of "culture" you get here. This was a great change for all of us.

We found a little place to eat on the island that had great sea food . Mark had a great soup that had muscles, clams, halibut, and salmon and I had some fish and chips. I really love the food variance with big cities and living by the ocean. I LOVE SEA FOOD!

Loving a GREAT book!

I have turned to good uplifting books after the kids go to bed. These are a couple of good ones I have enjoyed lately. In the past little while I have really learned that nothing can be taken for granted. Every relationship needs to be nourished and strengthened everyday.

Love is like our testimony... it has a short shelf life.

We're Here!!!

We have officially moved to Renton, WA for the summer. I have all of my 10 boxes unpacked and will now have a lot more time to take the kids to the library, park, and explore the city. I really like the simplified life. It takes me all of 30 minutes to clean the whole apartment, and I can't help but finish the laundry because it's in the hallway. I am so glad to have more time to focus on my kids, husband and those things that matter most.

Our first park experience for the summer. We've been here since Sunday, and this is the first day it hasn't rained. The kids spotted the sun before it even popped from behind the clouds. What's a little rain if it comes, right? Kids are always needing an extra shower. I love staying home with my kids!

Sweet Little Man

I put Brooks in a little grove of trees at the park yesterday while the girls were playing. He is so fun and curious. I love watching his little wheels turning while he explores.
