It was such a beautiful day for a ferry ride. The kids loved driving our car onto the boat and got a kick out of a boat carrying cars. We went into the city last weekend, but it really isn't that kid friendly with the type of "culture" you get here. This was a great change for all of us.
We found a little place to eat on the island that had great sea food . Mark had a great soup that had muscles, clams, halibut, and salmon and I had some fish and chips. I really love the food variance with big cities and living by the ocean. I LOVE SEA FOOD!

i have so many memories of riding ferries. we lived up there and would go out on adventures all the time. so fun!
That would be really neat. I could really go for some seafood about now!
Love the ferry. We will have to do downtown again sometime!
