Curious...

Does anyone else see something that just doesn't belong in the pantry? Little man is into everything! Toilet paper, trash cans, cupboards, pantry... now that he has been crawling for a couple of weeks he's fast and furiously into everything in sight. He has gotten bored with the toys out for him and is on to bigger and better messes. He knows when someone goes into a closed door that he cannot go into. He is right there waiting to gain entrance at the first glimpse of weekness. As pictured below he is so proud of himself when he is found out. It is really fun to have a new baby in the family.

What's in a Name?

Our family has fun with names. It started with Bradley, Taylor, and Abbi in the car. Mark was trying to keep them occupied and happy until we got home so he started making up names for each of them.

Mark: My Name's Alfalfa Don't Call Me Ralpha
Taylor: Pumpernickel Brewster Sox
Bradley: In-the-Bushes Blyleven
Abbi: Glass Shoe Magoo
Annabelle: Corn Crop Chop

We call each other fun names all the time. Some of the other names we have come up with are...

Abbi: Monster Abs, Magillicutty, Abba Gallabba Goo, Princess Analise, Happy Abbi

Annabelle: Annabellito, Stinker Pots, Stinker Doodle, Princess Erica, Cutie Patootie

Brooks: Booger, Snaggletooth, Little Duder, Stinker, Brooksie, Cutie Bug,

On The Hunt

The day after Thanksgiving we have a tradition of going to Island Park to cut down our Christmas tree each year.

Mark was having fun showing Brooks the ropes of being a man with an ATV.

I love this picture! Grandpa is always great with the grandkids. Thanks Dad for loving my children.

Abbi and Annabelle loved being outside despite their having minor colds. It was so beautiful outside with not even so much as a breeze.

Uncle Doug is so fun to have around. Thanks for sharing our family moments, we love having you with us.

My cousin Crystal and I were having some fun of our own.

Finding a Christmas tree is always fun, but all the more when atv's are involved. We had a blast with all the family. There were a lot of snowballs, screaming kids, jokes, and laughter. Thanks Family for all the fun times we had.

Quackin' Up

The falls were breathtaking!

Annabelle was loving climbing on the edge of the rail. I swear it is all about the thrill for this girl. She was loving how close she was able to get to the waterfalls.

The geese were not shy about eating out of the girl's hands.

Mark and Brooks are such great buddies. I love how tight the boys are. Of course his first word this week had to be dada. It always happens this way... Oh well, just an excuse for me to say "he wants you honey" in the middle of the night when he is crying dada.

Today was such a beautiful day outside. Mark and I were desperate to get out with the kids so we headed into town. A 75 cent loaf of bread later we were down by the river feeding the ducks and geese. The kids loved getting out and I'm sure the birds were just as grateful.

Happy Halloween

We were in charge of the Church Halloween party again this year and it turned out great. I was so pleased with the turnout and all the help that I had. It was a great night and the kids loved the trick-or-treating.

Temple Visitor's Center

For family home evening this week we went to the Idaho Falls temple visitor's center. It has been remodeled recently and looks wonderful. We were able to see a video and walk around the grounds. We had a wonderful time, and the kids loved it!

New Hobby

Lately I've been more of a picture taker. I don't think you could call it photography, because that sounds too professional. I really like to see beautiful pictures of God's creations, and my children. I love to capture sweet moments. I have noticed time just slipping by and I want to remember things better. These are just a few of my feeble attempts.

Adorable!!!

My good friend Tyra took us to Rigby Lake about a month ago to "practice" her photography. I love her "practicing" on my kids! I think they turned out amazing! We didn't get too many, but enough to make me extremely grateful! Check 'em out! THANKS TYRA!!!
