For the family home evening activity we made paper airplanes. We have this amazing book (compliments of Beverly Romer) that shows how to make all different kinds of airplanes. We tested three of the better models and then took them outside to see what kind of flight they could achieve.
I don't know if it was the quality of the airplane paper or the Idaho wind, but these planes could fly! We definately had a lot of fun!

I am so glad you did the airplanes. You boys always loved making them, so I got the book in hopes your love of flying would get you going. What fun to see the family flying planes.
